Get yo' platforms on! - Underground creeper review

Platform Shoes? Creepers? Flatforms? My review.

My first pair of creepers were Dalmation print black ones, I bought these from the Oxford Street Office store around a year ago. They originally retail at £95 but I got £9.50 (10%) student discount off! I put off buying creepers for about a year before I actually caved because of the heafty price tag, but after research into the leading brand Underground, I gained knowledge how greatly the shoes were made. With the cheaper versions of creepers the sole is usually made from foam, but Underground uses very heavy duty rubber, which is why these shoes last years and years.

Sorry they're so battered! Well loved and all.

The shoes themselves are extremely comfy, I could easily walk around in these all day, they feel soft on the feet and it doesn't feel like you're walking on top of 2 inches worth of hardcore rubber!
One thing I would say is they are very heavy, this could become a problem if you have extremely skinny ankles as as well the shoes come up slightly big.

I was strolling through ASOS sale, and I came across a few pairs of Underground creepers in the sale, they we're around £60 but I wasn't swayed. I then saw these, green with a thick white sole, now I know these aren't going to be everyones taste, but I absolutely loved them! and the best thing of all they we're only £26! Absolute bargain, I actually bought 2 pairs and sold one on ebay and made an extra 20 quid! (skills I know).

Not as worn but definitely had a good wear! Not the most versatile shoe, but a statement, and Teddy fashion dating back to the 50's, I don't care if creepers aren't 'on trend' anymore!

Lusting

Anyone wanna buy me these? No? I thought not!

1. New Balance 574's. I've been forever lusting after New Balance trainers, and always wanted a bright pair, and then I stumbled across these beauties on Polyvore and oh my I NEED! They're custom made and you can do it yourself at newbalance.com for £90 (£140).

2. Homies Beanie. The forever infamous Homies beanie, as seen on Pintrest and Tumblr, a recreation of the 'Hermes' logo, I fricken love it! Would look great with any plain outfit, and even on those lazy days.

3. Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac. If I got a pound for every time I googled 'Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac' I'd be a wealthy gal. Neon yellow is my all time FAVE colour! I just cannot justify paying £170 for a small bag that to be honest, isn't actually very practical. Buy here: http://www.my-wardrobe.com/rebecca-minkoff/neon-yellow-mini-mac-clutch-with-chain-shoulder-strap-112623

4. Michael Kors Watch. I've got a gold Michael Kors watch and I wear the crap out of it, I really adore this silver one, but again, I hate paying a lot of money for one thing (I could buy a lot of clothes with 200 quid!!) but anywho- i'm gonna save! Buy similar here: http://www.asos.com/Michael-Kors/Michael-Kors-MK8086-Silver-Steel-Bracelet-Watch/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=2488922&SearchQuery=silver%20michael%20kors%20watch&sh=0&pge=0&pgesize=20&sort=-1&clr=Silver

Let me know what your currently lusting after as I would love to know!
Hope you all enjoyed reading, Love Holly X

Is a Mulberry bag worth the money?!

Welcome to my second official blog post lovelies, today I will be answering some of the questions I asked myself before receiving a Mulberry bag.

So, first of all, the quality? The quality on my bag is lovely, I take all my college stuff in this bag, and use it for every day-to-day use, it has held heavy sketchbooks, packed makeup bags, sprays and girly bits and bobs! It's very tough, and seems really long-lasting, the finish on this bag is absolutely beautiful, and there is no doubt that this bag is wonderfully made.

Price? £600 for a bag seems pretty steep, and although I am in love with it, use it every day and look after it like it's my child *sad*, I just do not see myself paying the money for it, I was fortunate enough to receive this as a gift, and I certainly was extremely grateful, but £600 for a bag? I could think of better use for that money! *cough cough* CLOTHES. (Like I don't already have enough!).

Still getting used to this ol'blogging shiz, and still feel like I'm talking to myself (I probably am) but I'm gonna bare with it!

oh and by the way, sorry about the quality of the photos, I can't find my camera charger so I had to take these photos using my iPad, also awful lighting! Sorry guysssss mwah x
